Community CPR Day - Q2

Welcome to Community CPR Day at Vanderburgh County Fire Department!

Come join us for quick learning sessions as we cover the most need-to know aspects of CPR and other critical emergencies. This in-person event is free and open to anyone who wants to learn and practice life-saving skills.

What to Expect:

We'll have 1-hr sessions led by experienced providers starting at the top of each hour (10am, 11am) that will cover the following topics:

• Hands-only CPR training
• How to use an AED

Optional Skill Stations:

• Rescue Breathing with a pocket mask
• Overview of Epi-Pen use & public-access Narcan
• Q&A with your local Firefighter/EMTs & Paramedics

Bystander CPR can double or even triple cardiac arrest survival rates, and the #1 reason holding people back from helping is that they don't feel confident in performing the skill.
