Ages 8 and up are invited to participate in our FREE Hands-only CPR training, which also includes how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED), and bleeding control techniques in the event of an emergency. Hands-only CPR is a simplified form of CPR using only compressions and no breaths. Participants will receive instruction from BSO Fire Rescue. In just one hour you will learn life-saving instruction on CPR, how to operate an AED and Bleeding Control.Brain damage can occur in four minutes. For every minute without CPR, the chance of survival decreases by 10%. A community needs to rely on one another. A cardiac event or drowning can happen anytime.
