Two years ago, on New Year’s Day 2023, an off duty Binghamton police officer violently assaulted a Black man and father in Downtown Binghamton. The NYS Attorney General’s Office conducted an investigation and determined that Officer Brad Kaczynski had used excessive force and recommended his termination.
Instead, the Mayor’s Office, District Attorney, & the Binghamton Police Dept. aggressively charged and prosecuted the VICTIM as retaliation for exposing their abuse. He is scheduled for sentencing two days before Christmas. Join us as we confront this egregious injustice.
