About this Event
A Silver Spring trio honoring the wistful glory of 1970s power pop and classic new wave. For the Airport 77s, music is about attitude — and altitude. Grounded in the timeless tenets of power pop, the Maryland trio assembles a sturdy airframe of killer hooks, catchy beats and sneaky Zevonesque wordplay, then applies enough energy to take flight. If you find yourself dancing, well, that’s the entire point.
Band members include: John Kelly, Chuck Dolan and Andy Sullivan.
TIME: food truck @ 6 , doors @ 7:15, music 8-10 sharp
FOOD:A food truck from ROCKLANDS BBQ will be set up from 6-8:30 pm for purchasing dinner and refreshments before the show including beer from Right Proper Brewing Co. Picnic tables available out side.
DRINK: No worries about a bar tab... ..it's also BYOB of choice.
TICKETS: Online & at the door ...Cash preferred at the door- checks and venmo also accepted. ( sorry-we do not have a way to process credit cards yet.)
TRANSPORT & PARKING: easy parking on street, one block from the D6 bus stop on MacArthur Blvd NW
HEALTH & SAFETY: Your safety is very important to us. All attendees will be required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID 19 (paper or digital photo) or a negative COVID test result within the past 72 hours. Masks are required when not actively eating or drinking.
