Community College Day at the Capitol 2025
Collin College faculty, staff, trustees, and administrators will come to Austin to tell the Community College and our institution's story. Meet your elected officials, tour the state capitol, and explore the state capitol area with Collin College faculty and students!
All participants must register and complete the Student Travel Training Liability Waiver and Acknowledgment Form after reviewing the Student Travel Procedures by February 21, 2025. These items are available at https://www.collin.edu/studentresources/deanofstudents/studenttraveltraining.html. This form and training must only be completed once from August 26, 2024-August 10, 2025.
The dress is professional business attire.
All participants will be provided meals.
If you have specific dietary restrictions, we encourage you to bring food and snacks for the day.
All student participants MUST BE ENROLLED in Collin College for Winter/Spring 2025 and must abide by all college policies.
Sign in at the Collin College-Plano Campus (Spring Creek) Atrium at 3:00 a.m. (early morning). Enter the flag pole side.
Buses will depart at 4:00 a.m. SHARP. Buses will return to the Collin College-Plano Campus (Spring Creek) by 10 p.m. the same day.
