No Place Like Home: Veteran Housing, Dignity & Belonging: This session will explore what it means for veterans and all of us to have safe, stable housing. We’ll spotlight the unique housing challenges veterans face, honor their stories, and identify ways the community can be a stronger partner in creating real housing solutions. Dr. Terrence Duncan, MERC Board President and housing advocate, will return to help lead the session. He can speak to structural challenges, disparities in veteran housing access (especially for BIPOC veterans), and local/national programs that support stability and ownership.
