Each year, the City of Calgary Waste and Recycling Services and Community Standards partner with Community Associations to help residents get rid of unwanted household items and property waste. This event saves residents a trip to the landfill for items that do not fit in their waste and recycling carts. It is a FREE service for all Calgarians.
Triwood Community Association & Brentwood Community Association have partnered up and booked additional vendors to help residents dispose of and donate other unwanted items including; electronics, metal recycling, cans & bottles and donations.
The vendors on-site include:
City of Calgary; Waste and Organic Trucks
Technotrash; for your electronic recycling
Metal-Alcop; for scrap metal
Cerebral Palsy Alberta; Accepting Household items and clothing donations
$th Elk Scouts; Hosting a bottle drive
The line-up will be cut off at 1pm so the trucks, who will leave at 2pm sharp, can take care of the last few folks.
