Join us for a Community Clean Up Event on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (or until trucks are full). This event features the Shred-A-Thon with the City Clerk’s Office, a Prescription Drug Take-Back Event with Avondale PD, and a Household Hazardous Waste Event with Public Works. We are proud to partner with the Attorney General’s Office to make this event possible.Event Details:
No-Contact Event: Participants must remain in their vehicles during the event and will be directed to each of the three stations. Ensure all Household Hazardous Waste, Paper Documents, and Prescriptions are in your vehicle's trunk or truck bed before arriving.
Accepted Items:

Prescription Drugs: Anonymous drop-off. All pills, capsules, tablets, and liquid medications are accepted. Ensure caps are tightly sealed. Items NOT accepted: intravenous solutions, injectables, syringes, and illicit substances such as marijuana or methamphetamine.
Document Shredding: Paper only - 5 box shred limit per vehicle. No binders or binder clips.
