About this Event

Join Kayd for a motivational panel discussion celebrating the achievements of four remarkable community leaders from the Somali community. The event will highlight the contributions of Hawa Kodah, a deaf awareness advocate who will discuss the challenges faced by the deaf community and her work in Somaliland. Mushtaaq, a British-Somalilander health advocate, will share her charitable efforts in the health sector in Somaliland.

This panel will feature a diverse group of inspiring Somali individuals, providing a platform to honor our unsung heroes and raise awareness for their causes. Community is essential for the success and advancement of the Somali diaspora in the UK. Somali culture emphasizes values like togetherness, charity, and kindness, which are deeply intertwined with the Islamic faith. Charity, one of the five pillars of Islam, is a principle that many in the Somali community proudly uphold in their daily lives.

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate and support the vital contributions of our community leaders.
