You're Invited!!! Parents/Guardians of children from birth to middle school age are invited to join us for a FREE Community Cafe focused on the topic of nutrition. We want to hear from YOU and provide a space for you to connect with other Groton parents/guardians.
Space is limited, so register today and join other parents and caregivers (birth to middle school age) for a rich conversation to discuss topics around the theme of nutrition, including access to fresh food, community resources to support families feeding their children, and ideas for affordable, nutritious snacks and meals for children.
Your comments and suggestions will be shared with community partners to guide our work within Groton according to your suggestions for changes, additional learning opportunities, and resources that you feel are important to see in our community. We have invited partners to attend as "listeners" to hear about what is important to families like yours. Your voice matters!

LOCATION: Groton Community Center (Meeting Room C102 - take a right down the hallway when entering the main entrance)

-Light dinner served for both children and adults
-$15 cash stipend for every registered adult attendee at the conclusion of the event
- Childcare provided by teachers from Riverfront Children's Center (for the first 25 children). Childcare will be at the Community Center Preschool room located in C103, right next door to our event meeting room in C102 so you can easily check on your child.
-Take home a free sample from a nutritious snack demonstration with Erica Benveunti, RD, Community Nutrition Educator, UCONN EFNEP + SNAP
