Join Earth Moves for a friendly and hands-on Community Day as we come together to build a giant Bug Hotel to support local biodiversity — and enjoy a free lunch while we’re at it!
Help us make the Bugdelphi Hotel here at the site for all the insects and pollinators to enjoy!
This fun, nature-inspired event is suitable for all ages and abilities. Learn how to make habitats for insects and pollinators, help us construct a large community bug hotel, and build your own mini bug hotel to take home and support wildlife in your own garden or outdoor space.

Materials and instructions to make your own mini bug hotel
Free plant-based sandwich lunch and refreshments
Learn about insects and how to support biodiversity
Great for families, individuals or people who want to help their community!
FREE event – all welcome!
Booking is recommended so we can cater appropriately and prepare materials.
Come and get creative, connect with others, and do something positive for our local environment.

Where is the site?
Telegraph Lane is a pedestrian path between Green Lane and Leasowe Road. The lane runs alongside a series of fields, formerly the market gardens for Wallasey.The site is a 10 min walk from Wallasey Grove Road station. The Earth Moves site can be accessed by foot and bicycle from Bayswater Road, turning onto Green Lane and walking up the lane for 480 meters. It is also within walking distance of the North Wirral Coastal Car Park on Green Lane, Wallasey CH45 8NA.
There is no public car parking at the site itself, the North Wirral Coastal Car Park is a short walk away. Bicycle parking is available.
FREE event – booking essential.
Places are limited to ensure a supportive environment, so please reserve your spot early.
