First English will be hosting two blood drives this September—one at the Downtown Site and one at the North Site. Both events need donors and volunteers, and your participation can make a life-changing difference.The Community Blood Center (CBC) relies on generous individuals like you to continue its life-saving mission. Each donation has the power to save up to three lives. Right now, CBC is facing a critical shortage of blood types O-, A-, and O+, and eligible donors are urgently encouraged to schedule an appointment.
Donors, please bring:
A photo ID
A list of current medications
International travel history
Permission forms (Donors aged 16-17)
Tips for a Successful Donation: Stay hydrated, eat iron-rich and nutritious meals, and get a good night’s sleep before your appointment.
