Community Bikepacking Weekend - April 2025

We're kicking off our 2025 bikepacking season with a Community Bikepacking Weekend, with the option to hire complete bikepacking bag sets for the weekend.

The route will start and end in central Bristol, and we’ll be heading south-west out towards the Mendips! We will be going about 40km each day, and will be riding at an inclusive social pace with regular breaks for snacks and to enjoy our surroundings. The route will be sent out about a week beforehand to all joining, along with suggested packing list and meeting point details.

This event is suitable for beginner bikepackers, but you should be comfortable being on your bike for ~4 hours each day. We’ll be cycling on roads and country lanes the whole time, so is suitable for all types of bike! We will be camping at a scenic eco campsite about halfway around on the Saturday night, which costs £10 (not included in your ticket).

We'd love for you to join - grab a ticket to book your spot! We've got a couple of different ticket options to choose from:

🚲 Attending, plus borrowing a full set of bikepacking bags. This includes a saddle, frame, handlebar, and top tube bags comprising roughly 40L of storage.

🚲 Attending, and are able to bring your own bikepacking bags and equipment.

Tickets are on a Pay-What-You-Can basis with a suggested amount of £15. All proceeds from tickets are reinvested back into Loop Bikepacking so that we can run future events and rent out bikepacking gear.

For insurance purposes - although we will be riding in a group, this is not a guided ride and all riders are responsible for their own personal safety. You will need to be able to have the route downloaded, either on a phone or bike computer.
