On Saturday, Nov. 22, '25, from 1 pm to 5 pm, the City will host a Community Bike Skills Workshop at City Hall. This free workshop is for kids of all ages to learn to ride their bikes safely to school and in their community. Participants will receive a free bike helmet*, free bike tune-ups, and a free hop on our skills course with our trained instructors.* While supplies last
The workshop continues bicycle safety education events held at 18 other locations throughout the City within the past year.
As the City continues to implement the extensive network of bicycle facilities outlined in the 2018 Active Transportation Plan, safe bicycle riding habits for users of all ages is an important component of an effective bicycle network to provide mobility options to Costa Mesa residents and visitors.
