The Healthy Mothers & Babies of Jefferson County invites you to drop off new, unused, and unexpired mom and baby essential items at the Port Arthur Health Department on January 23, 2025, from 11 AM – 3 PM!
All donations will go to families-in-need who apply and participate in maternal and infant health education classes, like breastfeeding, safe infant sleep, and nutrition. The Giving Tree is set to open in February 2025.

The Giving Tree Community Closet is an initiative of the Healthy Mothers & Babies of Jefferson County (HMBJC), a Texas DSHS grant-funded coalition dedicated to reducing disparities contributing to high infant and maternal mortality rates. Through strategic partnerships, HMBJC promotes evidence-based practices that support healthier moms, safer pregnancies, and stronger babies.
