About this Event
Community as Medicine: Womb Healing for Queer Folx
Join us for our Community as Medicine session, gathering our LGBTQ+ Communities of Color across generations for a laid back evening of medicine-making and storytelling surrounding the grief that lives in our womb • tiyan • hara.
Our womb is a sacred space that holds so much wisdom and power. It also stores so much of our emotional, physical and ancestral trauma.
We invite you to gather with us as we tend to the stories we carry in our womb, our hara, our tiyan. We will hold our sharing compassionately and gently, as we make medicine for a simple self-ritual practice. You will take home what you make and perform this self-care practice in the comfort of your own home.
We ask that you register so that we may prepare enough materials.
We will provide a nourishing spread of good food and drinks.
