Wor-Wic is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a Community Arts Showcase of Excellence. The free, public event will be held on Friday, Sept. 12, from 3 to 8 p.m. and will feature visual arts such as painting and sculpture, as well as performing arts such as music, dance and theater. We will be featuring some top local talents in many different genres - there will be something for everyone! Visual arts will be in Shockley Hall with exhibits opening at 3 p.m. Performing arts will be showcased in Guerrieri Hall, with different performances every 15 minutes starting at 4:30. Stop by one of the food trucks on site for dinner and make an evening of it.
