In an era where budgets are tight and schools are not always prioritized, this community is thankful for new smyrna beach police department And their DEDICATION to protecting our children and schools! We are here to say we see you. We see you in our schools, we see you outside of our schools protecting them, and we appreciate the peace of mind you’re giving parents by your presence and willingness to serve and protect our local youth.
These thankful parents and community members are coming together to treat our NSBPD to meals over the course of two days, to ensure the entire department is fed.
On Tuesday March 4th we will be dropping off breakfast at 8 am and then dropping an evening meal at 6 pm for the next shift.
Then on Thursday March 6th we will feed the next two shifts, breakfast at 8 am and evening meal at 6 pm.
What do we need:
Lots of stuff! Laubster’s catering and bagel barn have graciously offered to help with the main meal to make it affordable. If you’d like to donate towards the main meal you can do so my sending Venmo to the link provided (that goes to my business, oh so sweet studios, and all money received and spent will be tracked on this page so you know the money is going where it belongs). We will also work on a way for you to pay laubsters or bagel barn directly so stay tuned for that. If we were to have extra monetary funds they will go towards extra snacks or drinks if needed and any remaining funds will be donated to nsbpd for their holiday shop with a cop program.
Other items we need donated side items ( such as chips or salads or fruits) baked goods, drinks, plates napkins etc. I have created a sign up genius so folks can sign up and we can track what we will have in case I need to buy more of something. Donations can be brought to my home off Ragis rd (pm for address) or directly to nsbpd on the days of the events.

We hope this event encourages change for Other cities who have not prioritized their children’s safety. May they see just how important our local youth is and how thankful we are to those who protect them.
