About this Event

Many of us treasure the time we have in nature, and gain a great sense of wellbeing from connecting with the natural world.
At the same time, climate change and nature loss are at the top of the list of worries, and can be potential drivers for a sense of despair and hopelessness.
Tom will share his experiences from joining with others in his local area to care for their local woodland, and hopes to maybe even offer some encouragement for those of us who feel defeated by the nature crisis.
Tom works as a primary teacher, is a parent to 3 young kids and has no special Ecological training beyond stealing whatever knowledge he can from the nature buffs in his community group.

Come along from 10:45am and grab a coffee before we start at 11am.
