We would like to invite you to a free in-person community resilience planning workshop being held for parish, town and community councils on 21st May 2024 being run on behalf of the Kent Resilience Forum.
This all-day training event is being delivered by an organisation called Communities Prepared in partnership with the Kent Resilience Team and the Kent Association of Local Councils (KALC), and will be hosted at Ashford Borough Council’s Committee Rooms.
The event programme will combine interactive workshops, keynote national and local speakers, a range of local case studies and partner information stands, to help you gain essential insights into the role of parish and town councils in helping to build resilient communities, and practical advice to assist you in developing your local community resilience plans.
Refreshments and a complementary light lunch will be included.
Kindly note that spaces for this event are limited, therefore early sign-up is highly recommended to secure your attendance.
