Communication Skills for New Tutors

This 2 hour workshop will be delivered Face to Face and will cover:

How communication teaching fits within the MB ChB

Small group facilitation using an online platform – and in real life using constructive feedback

Working with Simulated Patients

After the workshop you will receive a certificate, and be encouraged to shadow a teaching session prior to leading it yourself.

Presenter:

Professor Iain Lawri is a Macmillan consultant in palliative medicine, a medical examiner at North Manchester General Hospital and Associate Hospital Dean for Communication Skills Teaching.
