You’re invited to Communal’s Meet & Eat!

Come share a meal, meet new people, and learn more about how food circles work. Whether you connect with someone to swap meals with or leave inspired to start a circle with your own friends, we’d love to have you at the table.

What’s a food circle?

A food circle is a small group of households that each cook one big meal and swap with the others—so instead of cooking every night, you just cook once and end up with several different homemade meals for the week. It’s a simple way to save time, eat well, and share the load of daily cooking with people you trust. Why we’re gathering

We’re inviting folks who might be a good match for one another. If you find someone you’d like to swap with—amazing! The Communal team is also hoping to stay in touch with a few new circles to see how it’s going. Your experience will help us better support others as this idea spreads.

The vibe

This is an adults-only evening in Sayla’s shaded backyard (invite-only for now). We’ll set the mood with candlelight, good conversation, and one simple group activity—like sharing your favorite go-to meal or who taught you how to cook.

What to bring

Bring a dish to share with the people at your table. It doesn’t have to be fancy—just something you enjoy and want to offer.
