The Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir, SUNY Plattsburgh Department of Music and SUNY Plattsburgh DEI proudly presents in honor of Black History Month featuring the Voices of Faith of Plattsburgh, NY (COMMON ROOTS 2025)
Celebrate the rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted traditions of African American music with "Common Roots: An Evening of Spirituals & Ballads" featuring the renowned Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir. This heartwarming concert, in honor of Black History Month, will take place on Friday, February 28th, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Church of the Nazarene of Plattsburgh (187 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, NY).
The evening will highlight the powerful voices of The Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir, along with a special performance by the Voices of Faith, a talented guest group whose harmonies will stir your soul. Together, these performers will bring to life spirituals and ballads that have been passed down through generations, capturing the essence of resilience, faith, and unity.
