Join us in an inspiring and healing workshop that explores the intricate dance between the masculine and feminine sides of our being and our connection with the opposite gender in the outside world. Through methods drawn from ritual, shamanic and archetypical work, body-psychotherapy, bodywork, and other movement methods, we will explore and work on healing the wounds shaped by the polarity between the masculine and feminine, the history of the relation between Man and Woman, and social structures that influence gender roles and possible modes of connecting. We will delve into the intersection of gender, identity, and unity, fostering understanding and healing across perceived divides.
A unique feature of the workshop is that we will work both in women-only and men-only as well as shared spaces with an emphasis on listening to ourselves and each other and uncovering how and why we defend against really hearing each other. A further unique feature will be the composition of the group with people from a diversity of backgrounds, experiences and ages.
This workshop is an invitation to explore themes of connection, healing, and transformation—moving between individual and collective experiences. Through movement, touch, and verbal exploration, we will work on deepening self-awareness and cultivating authentic relationships with ourselves and others.
🔑 Key Themes
• The dance and balance of masculine and feminine energies
• Loss of trust and relationship trauma
• Somatic and ritual-based explorations of gender identity
• Examining inner and outside structures upholding inequality and violence
• Examining power dynamics and institutional and internalized oppression
• Listening to each other, uncovering where we defend against hearing the other’s story
• Healing the wounds of disconnection and societal conditioning
• Finding balance: embodying both strength and vulnerability
• Healing Mother wounds and Father wounds, wounds caused by dysfunctional, physically or emotionally absent or abusive parents - realizing how these woundings shape cultural norms of how we treat each other
• Holding space for transformation in ourselves and others
This workshop is open to all who wish to engage in meaningful exploration, healing, and connection.

About Selene Shakti
''When Women connect with the power of their womb, they heal themselves & the world''. Selene Shakti is a project created by Elena Michalopoulou in 2015. The womb is the primordial feminine symbolism, and this work is focused on the energies of the womb as a collective symbol but also as a physical cyclical organ. Through workshops, retreats and training, Elena is using somatic work, Tantric healing, ceremonial and archetypical work in order to help women heal and embrace their relationship with the feminine inside them but also as a universal energy that is much needed in a patriarchical world. Elena Is a Yoga teacher with focus on the Feminine aspect of yoga, (womb yoga) a somatic bodyworker with a focus on female trauma healing, a doula and a Shaminic womb healer. For more than 10 years she has studied and teaches various holistic modalies that honours and heal the Feminine.
