What happens at Impact Comics when the doors close? Come find out!
Ben Hutchings and David Blumenstein are from Squishface Comics Studio in Melbourne. They're touring Aus with their new graphic novel, , and they'd love you to come meet them for a classic Squishface-style drawing evening at Impact Comics!
Squishface have been holding monthly drawing nights for 12 years. No need for themes, lessons or pressure -- we just like to sit and draw stuff with other people. Digital or paper, comics or fan art, all welcome. Come along! Under 18s welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Entry is free but you can also order a copy of Squishbook with your ticket and we'll have it ready for you when you arrive!
Squishbook is a new comics anthology by 13 Australian artists and writers. It's a silly, but truthful, guide to how and why children should make their own comics and stories.
Spaces are very limited so we ask that you please let us know/cancel your ticket if you find you can't make it! And please look after Impact and their staff by not attending if you're showing symptoms of illness. We can refund you, or leave your copy of Squishbook with Impact for pickup later.
