April is neurodiversity acceptance month! Join instructor and comic artist Sarah Hynfield in learning about neurodiversity—what the term means, the conditions that fall under the term (such as autism and adhd) and why advocacy is so important. The comics discussed, Space for Everyone by Sarah Hynfield, and Danny Meets His Brain by Davis Hampton, are created by artists born and raised here in Hamilton, Ohio! Using the techniques demonstrated in the comics, students will create their own illustration or comic celebrating neurodiversity.
