This five-day workshop during April School Vacation Week introduces students to all the steps to making comics: writing, sketching, inking, and assembling a mini-comic. Join local graphic novelist Dave Ortega for a week of cartooning creativity! Free to attend, registration required.

Guidelines for Participants:
Comics Camp: Roxbury is a free camp for ages 10 to 15. Drawing materials will be provided. Just bring an open mind and willingness to experiment!
All participants are welcome to display their comics at the 4th annual Boston Comics in Color Festival which takes place on April 20, 2024 from 10am to 5pm at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center at Roxbury Community College. One complimentary Comics Camp student table will be provided for the entire camp.
Attendance:
Attendance for the full week is encouraged and necessary for participants to finish their comic project. Please contact us with any scheduling concerns.
