Description
Calling all comic book hero's, manga lovers, and cartoon creators! Spend your spring break bringing your characters and stories to life in this fantastic four day art camp!
Students will explore the fundamentals of comic book creation from developing unique characters and designing structured panels to mastering expression, movement, and storytelling techniques. Whether you're into manga, superhero's, graphic novels or your own style, you'll have the chance to experiment and draw creatively while having fun with other young artists!
By the end of the week, students will complete their own comic strip or cartoon to take home. They'll also have gained a valuable new skillset in drawing, design and storytelling that they can use wherever their creativity takes them!
All supplies are provided.
Taught by Aaron Romo, a veteran of the animation, video game and illustration industries with over thirty years of experience as art director and lead designer.
