Support your clients with greater confidence, skill, and ease.This hands-on, experiential workshop provides doulas, labor and delivery nurses, and childbirth educators with an embodied toolkit of comfort techniques to use throughout labor, as well as practical strategies for navigating real-world barriers in hospital settings.
Designed by Evidence Based Birth® and facilitated by Javi Avilés-Sáez, Certified EBB® Instructor, this workshop is ideal for anyone who provides in-person labor support and wants to deepen their skills through evidence, practice, and community-based learning.
During this 4-hour session, participants will:
* Understand the latest evidence on comfort measures
* Practice a wide range of hands-on techniques, including touch, counterpressure, movement, positions, and hydrotherapy
* Explore communication strategies that support collaboration with hospital teams
* Identify common barriers to providing comfort measures and learn solutions.
* Build confidence in applying these skills with clients in any birth setting
Approved by most doula organizations for 3.5 CE hours.

Standard Rate: $280

Equity Rate: $150 (For birthworkers needing financial support to access the workshop)
