Comfort Food Cookoff!Please join the Lake Bomoseen Association in celebrating the end of the summer season with a Comfort Food Cookoff on Saturday, October 9th from 1 to 5 PM at Robo's General Store and The Lake Bomoseen Inn 33 Creek Rd, Castleton, VT 05735. This event is co-hosted by Robo’s General Store and Lake Bomoseen Inn “The Dog,” Creek Road Castleton, VT.
Cooks are encouraged to whip up their favorite comfort food and bring it for the rest of the attendees to taste and vote on their favorite dish. Cooks must register their dish on our website at http://www.lakebomoseenassociation.org/cookoff-2021
For the non cookers in the crowd, you are asked to bring any kind of appetizer, salad, bread or dessert.
Everyone should bring a chair, bring your favorite beverage, water will provided or drinks will be available for purchase at Robo's. For your added entertainment we will have live music, a 50/50 raffle, bonfire and more!
Admission is Free - Friends and neighbors of Lake Bomoseen are all welcome to attend.
If you are bringing a dish, please label your entry with the name of the dish and ingredients. We will not be putting the name of the chef on the pots, just a number. We will be at the venue at 11:30 and hope to take entries between then and 12:45 on Saturday. Thank you for participating!
