Everyone needs a hand sometimes. However, it can be uncomfortable or challenging to know how to respond when someone is experiencing hardship. You are invited to join us for a FREE training, which will help you build tools to respond when the people you know are in need of some extra support. Join CSU Extension for Changing our Mental and Emotional Trajectory (COMET) training. COMET is built on the rural value of neighbor helping neighbor, recognizing that communities are their own best resource. In this training, you will:
o Learn to discuss difficult topics naturally with friends or loved ones.
o Receive a 7-question guide to help others out of a rut.
o Practice conversations that promote community wellbeing and mental health.
Refreshments will be provided. Sign up is encouraged using the ticket link, which will help us prepare for the event, but walk ins are also welcome.
