ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Spencer Streichert is a Queer & Metis Comedian and Actor from Calgary, AB. His high energy style mixed with wild misdirection has entertained audiences from coast to coast. Along with being a headliner in his own right, he has opened for some big names like Jim Jefferies and Kenny vs. Spenny live, and appeared at Sled Island, BIG Winter Classic, and the Los Angeles Comedy Festival. In 2018 he was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for best album, and in 2023 he was a part of CBC Lethbridges' Comedy After Dark Taping. You can also see him in hit TV series such as Fargo, Billy the Kid, and Wynonna Earp.

Alcove Centre for the Arts (alcoveartscentre.ca) is a non-profit organization based in Calgary, AB which aims to make art more accessible and promote a vibrant local arts industry. We curate and cultivate community art spaces for Calgarians to engage in art and creativity while building a platform for emerging local artists.
Alcove is a Recreational Art Space open to the public providing free art supplies and instruments to stimulate creativity. The space also acts as a gathering place for workshops, community events, and social meetups. Come visit and get creative!
