About this Event

What If They Laugh at Me?

“What if they laugh at me?” is a one man comedy spoken word show written and performed by Clive Oseman, telling the story of one person’s battle to overcome severe shyness and lack of self esteem to achieve a burning ambition to entertain and bring laughter to audiences, told in a unique, sometimes serious but often hilarious manner highlighting the early battles with inner turmoil through to the sheer joy of seeing dreams come true. But is the battle ever really won?

Clive Oseman is an internationally renowned spoken word artist, comedian, satirist and promoter from Birmingham, currently based in Swindon.
