”Pipe Dreamzzz”
A new comedy about friendship, dancing, and getting punched in the face.
Not all mentors are meant to be, so find the lot of boy-band-wannabe mall employees who stumble into a legendary, if now deadbeat, ex-superstar. Pipe Dreamzzz (both the show and the boy-band) are definitely naive, but perhaps so much so that their earnestness may just overcome the cynicism they’re up against, even if they never get out of the midwest.
Pipe Dreamzzz is about three guys trying to win a mall competition, with big eyes and an unrefined taste in the people they take advice from. When they find out that a washed up celebrity has taken residence in the abandoned music store, they know he is their ticket to stardom. He — and his ex-girlfriend — are not so sure, but good or bad, influence he is sure to be.
