Comedy on the Avenue returns to Toronto's famed Imperial Pub for a brand-new show!!!

Join us on Monday, September 25th at 7:30pm in the fully-accessible Imperial Pub Back Room for a night of laughter that is GUARANTEED to start your week off, right! Hosted by Kelly Zemnickis - our September show features:

Amanda Custodio - Amanda is a comedian, actor and producer born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She graduated from theatre school in 2018 and instead of doing a masters in english (while putting herself in more debt), she decided to be more poor and started doing comedy. She also produces many shows around the city such as the Whore Store, The bachelwhore, Jokers wild, and the occasional themed roast. She’s been featured on tv shows such as “See No Evil,” “An Unexpected Murderer,” and “Love you to Death,” as well as a short film called “Glad you’re out.”

Ryan Beverage - Ryan is a British comic known for doing weird and wonderful material, often incorporating charts and music.
He just completed a run of his one man show, 'My Name is Ryan', at the Hamilton Fringe festival.

"He engages directly with his audience in a way that a fully-scripted performer never can.

"Truthfully, I could never tell which bits were planned in advance unless the context made it apparent, and I think that says a lot about how good his delivery is."

Christel Bartelse - Christel is an Actor/Comedic Performer, Storyteller, Clown, Writer, and Educator. She got her start in comedy and improv with the Physical Comedy Duo "The Burnt Marshmallows (Canadian Comedy Award Nominees). She has created and written six award winning Solo Shows "Chaotica", "ONEymoon", "Significant Me", "All KIDDIng Aside", "The Surprise" and "Encore" and has toured them all across Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. She's seen on stages all over the Toronto Comedy Scene with her Character work and physical comedy.

She is the Co-Producer and Co-Host of the hit Storytelling Show "But That's Another Story" along with Briane Nasimok and also produces and hosts a Variety show in the city, "Chis and Christel's Collection" showcasing top talent in the city. Christel teaches numerous workshops in improv, physical comedy, and solo creation around the city and is proud faculty member of Humber College, Toronto Film School, and George Brown College. christelbartelse.com

Buckle up! Liam Kelly has been making audiences laugh for 25 years. His fast paced improvisational style is sure to make every show unique and special. From Richmond Hill, Liam has worked played all the major clubs including Yuk Yuks and the Second City. Liam is an Aquarius and likes long walks on the beach and holding hands.
