One thing is for sure The Night of the Living Dummies is a crowd pleasing show that earned Rubben the moniker "The Puppet Master". Rubben's cast includes "Reggie" - The Jamaican Rasta-Mon; "Nash" - the long haired hippy; and "Cletus" - the Redneck. The closing highlight of the show features mechanical moving mouths that transform audience members into unforgettably hilarious characters that allow Rubben to utilize his amazing improvisational skills. Marc Rubben's stellar career, allowed him to appear on dozens of national television shows such as; Accidentally Famous; The HBO Aspen Comedy Festival; Comedy Central; and Showtime. Rubben performed regularly as a special guest star for Carnival Cruise Lines and some of the most prestigious Comedy Clubs, such as Catch a Rising Star and The Improv, as well as Casinos and Resorts in Las Vegas; Atlantic City; and around the world. With some 35 years as a full time professional comedian and ventriloquist, Rubben has enjoyed entertaining at over 200 conventions for companies such as Panasonic; Zebco; Lennox International; Merchants Bank of Alabama; and Minnesota Ag Group to name a few! In 2020, Marc was voted Best Actor in the award winning Indi Film "Silent Partner" and most recently is co-starring in the award winning theatre concert "Now ..... THAT'S FUNNY!" Joby has performed on several Moth shows in Santa Monica Ca. which is that gold standard for storytelling and launching storytalks.org with fellow comedian Alyse Kenny in New York City. Radio/Live performances. Frequent guest on the syndicated "Daren Streblow comedy show" on I-heart Radio. Joby can currently be seen on Casino Boss playing the role of Jimbo, the former x boxer turned floor manager on Spectrum TV. He is co producer and performer for the annual Clean Comedy Challenge along with Leslie Norris Townsend which promotes Clean Comedy for younger comedians as well as veterans. His DRYBAR Comedy Special just released was to strong reviews, the short clips quickly garnered 250k views. In 2022 Joby Performed his one Man Show on Broadway during the NYC Comedy Festival. Most recently Joby Headlined the Italy Comedy Festival in Florence Italy performing in the World's second oldest Theater: A Benefit Concert for Ukrainian Children. Joby signed a distribution deal with Crown Entertainment tv for his series Vidiots which will ensure a wider audience.
