MARK EVANS BIO:
An Atlanta native, Mark has always lived in the South. However, he is not what you might expect when you hear the words “Southern Comic”. He has performed in 46 states, several cruise ships, and a number of countries. For decades his Southern Not Stupid show has been taking audiences by storm. In 2020 he and his wife moved to SW Florida and they have totally embraced the tropical lifestyle. In fact, it inspired him to expand his brand by creating Sandbar Comedy whose message is: Laughing On The Flip Side Of Life. Not only is his comedy hilarious, but it’s smart, to the point, and cutting edge clean. A couple of things he hopes you will take from his show is that you don’t have to be dirty to be funny, and that having a southern accent does not mean you are stupid!
Mark has always been able to make people laugh but when he first took the stage at the legendary Punchline in Atlanta, Georgia back in 1993, he knew he found his calling and never looked back. His career has taken him to comedy clubs, colleges, casinos, corporate events, country clubs, RV resorts, 55 and up communities, international resorts and cruise ships. His shows are always “Audience Appropriate”. That is, he can be just as funny for family or adult groups. Mark can adjust his shows to fit your needs. But even his adult shows are never vulgar or offensive. As a result of all that, he was invited to record his Dry Bar Comedy Special in 2018.
Above all, he is proudest of the reputation he has earned over the years as not only being very funny, but of being a complete professional both on and off the stage. When you book Mark Evans, you get what you pay for … and much more!
LORI EVANS BIO:
After a rewarding career as an elementary school teacher, Lori graduated from the classroom to the comedy stage. Stand-up was a natural progression for her. After all, performing at a comedy club in a room fool of drunk adults is not that different from standing in front of a classroom full of six-year-olds. She has taken 33 years of hilarious interactions with kids that made her “head explode” and is now making audiences explode with laughter.
But there’s a lot more to Lori than just being a teacher. She is dangerously over-educated, having four college degrees, including a PhD, and was even a contestant on the TV game show, Jeopardy. (She did not win.)
Since then, Lori has taken her smart brand of humor across the country and overseas, always to great reviews. She looks forward to making YOUR head explode!
JASON DAMM BIO:
Jason Damm is a quiet boy who was raised on a farm in a small Michigan village. A little over 11 years ago he decided to venture on down to Southwest Florida, where he stepped onto the stage for the first time with an energy unlike any other. Ever since then, he has been taking all of that energy from stage to stage, winning several competitions and festivals, and making audiences laugh for more than a decade.
