This month’s show at Bruno’s is a great way to kick off another year of comedy at one of the best spots to hang in Scott’s Valley, January’s show features Sarah Kharri, Rea Kapur, and headliner Xander Beltran.
Sarah Kharri is a Bay Area based comedian who has performed all over the Bay Area, she is also the producer behind Odd Times Comedy, she has performed at multiple comedy clubs across the Bay and her unique perspective and delivery offers a hilarious view into Sarah’s daily life as well as bringing the audience together through shared experiences.
Rea Kapur (she/her) is a Bay Area based multi hyphenate whose work spans multiple artistic mediums: film, theatre, sketch comedy, and stand up! Growing up as a neuro-divergent, brown, gay woman, Rea never saw herself portrayed in media, and now creates art for people like her. Specifically, she’s passionate about creating art with realistic portrayals of mental illness that advocates for mental health reform.
Your headliner for the evening is Xander Beltran. Xander is an SF comedian and was the Winner of Cobb’s Comedy Competition in 2018 and a Semi-Finalist in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 2024 as well as a Finalist in House of Comedy’s Funniest Person in 2019. He has been on tour in the PNW and now returning to the Bay Area for some shows, He has opened for some comedy greats like Natasha Leggero, Tom Rhodes, Erik Griffin, Jamie Kennedy, Jeff Dye and Frankie Quiñones. He performs all over the country and going to be in Scott’s Valley on January 3rd be sure to get your tickets!
