Here's Part One of our April Mini Comedy Fest! (see separate event on 5th April for more). Featuring tip-top stand up comedians, live music and a BeerFest pop-up bar, plus the venue's own bar with everything else - wines, spirits, soft drinks. Our Comedians:
* John Moloney *
John Moloney is an English stand-up comedian of Irish descent. A regular at London’s Comedy Store, Moloney has appeared at venues from Melbourne to Edinburgh. He appeared at the Just for Laughs and Halifax Festivals in Canada and Liffey Laughs in Dublin. John is perhaps best known for his performances on TV's The Stand Up Show and Grumpy Old Men. He is one of the UK’s most experienced stand ups, a master of dry, dispassionate delivery and the droll one liner.
* Fiona Allen *
Twice Emmy winning actor and comedian Fiona Allen has been a mainstay of our TV screens over the past two decades. You will know her from many sketch shows, including Smack the Pony, We Know Where You Live, Goodness Gracious Me and The All Star Comedy Show. She has also appeared in many television dramas including Dalziel and Pascoe and Coronation Street, as well as the sitcom Happiness alongside Paul Whitehouse.
* Rob Rouse *
One of comedy’s most lively, loveable and dynamic performers, you may have seen Rob on 8 out of 10 cats, Spoons, The Friday Night Project, Celebrity Juice, Dave’s One night stand, John Bishop’s Only Joking, or Live at the Comedy store. He’s one of our best comic storytellers, has performed all over the world and works long form narratives into hard-hitting, uncompromising hilarious tales filled with warmth and a sense of compassion for our collective human frailties.
* Paul Revill *
Our MC for the night is Paul Revill, who tells stories with vivid characters and involves the audience in the fun. A variety of personal stories intertwined through observations and punch lines, ensure that the laughs just keep coming.
Music:
+ Early live music entertainment, with the fabulous Shane Lamont.
Food:
A quality street food truck will be on hand as previously, serving suppers from 6pm.
