Join us for a comedy night Franco Carofano's Comedy for a Cause in support of the New London Elks lodge. This event is being hosted by our friends who, each year, produce the Magical Evening of Giving annual Christmas tree auction in support of Safe Futures. The New London Elks is active in the community, hosting events throughout the year for local youth including our annual Lids for Kids Bike Helmet Giveaway and Bike Rodeo (this year on May 17th), Trunk or Treat, Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest, Soccer Shoot contest, Drug Awareness program, scholarships, boots for kids annual boot donation drive, and so much more. We also sponsor the New London Wildcats Special Olympics team, New London Babe Ruth, and New London Youth Affairs. During the pandemic we were host to Whalers Helping Whalers.
Your support helps us maintain our presence in the downtown New London community. This event will provide support to update our banquet hall so that we can continue to donate it for use by community organizations, including events like Magical Evening of Giving.
Doors open at 6 pm, dinner at 7 pm, comedy at 8 pm.
