About this Event
Join us for comedy explosion on Saturday February 22nd 8:00pm at Jeffersonville Golf Course featuring 4 funny comedians
Headliner Jason Andors
any crowd, whether black, white, Latino, old, young, gay or straight; because of his extremely diverse NYC upbringing, he can adapt to any style of crowd. He’s been called a “comedy chameleon.” Besides performing stand-up on many television shows in the U.S., he’s also appeared on TV in England, Sweden, Holland, and even in Puerto Rico—doing half his act in Spanish there!!!
“How many white boys can force the notoriously hard to please audience on Showtime at the Apollo to their feet?” Jason’s mother asks. Only Jason Andors—closing his routine by acting out a pop-locking battle between him and the breakdancers hired for his Bar Mitzvah. Raised a poor Jew (in other words, “middle class”), these are the types of Bar Mitzvahs you have.
Being a Jewish kid in New York City when there wasn’t even a police station in Central Park wasn’t easy. Jason would get mugged and chased constantly. So at a young age he had to learn how to survive. This meant one of two things: fight or breakdance. Well, since fighting was out of the question, Jason convinced his good friend Normski of the Rocksteady Crew to teach him how to out-pop his assailants.
Jason has appeared on HBO’s Network, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, Showtime’s White Boyz in the Hood (which he also associate-produced), Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed (two times!), Showtime at the Apollo (a guest artist), BET’s Comic View (four times!), Gotham Comedy Live (two times!), SITV Latino 101, Raymann is Laat (Holland); has performed for the military in Italy, Germany, and many U.S. bases; recently did a five city tour in England where the crowds voted him as the funniest comic on the tour, and he was one of the first four comics from the U.S. invited to perform in the Stockholm Comedy Festival that was aired on Sweden’s Comedy Central.
Peggy O’Leary had been featured on Fox TV, NBC Sports, Discovery Channel and Montreal Just for Laughs
