ABOUT CLASS: (OPEN THIS ONE-TIME ONLY)
In this three-class intensive, you’ll learn how to create bold, unique, and playable characters that elevate your improv. Through exercises, games, and scene work, we’ll explore physicality, voice, and emotional choices to help you unlock memorable characters on stage. By the end, you’ll walk away with a toolkit of techniques to generate characters quickly and confidently- whether for long-form improv, sketches, or auditions.
Length: Session is 3 hours, and meets for 3 time only in Los Angeles.
(Space is very limited- class will sell out in advance)
THE INSTRUCTOR:
KELSI ROBERTS
Kelsi is a comedian and actor based out of Los Angeles and teacher at Improv-LA. She has appeared in over 100 commercial spots and was a spokesperson for Papa Murphy’s Pizza for over two years. She is a Groundlings Sunday company alumni, Characters Welcome, and UCB alumni. You can also catch her in the upcoming season of For All Mankind on Apple TV.
