Friday October 11 the best live comedy in Ashmore is here and huge with Australian stand up icon Steve Allison coming all the way to us to headline and trust us when we say he is one of the funniest performers in the country with decades of experience under his belt. Joining him to host the show is Brisbane rising star Brian Freeman as well as a hand-picked selection of support acts guaranteed to have us in stitches all night long.
Steve Allison is a legendary funnyman and a comedian who smashes every gig we do! A Palm Beach local with decades of comedy experience under his belt travelling all over the country and all around the world, Steve leaves audiences around the country doubled over in laughter. Steve's sometimes crass, always hilarious observations and outlandish tales leave every room in hysterics. He's a favourite all around Australia and we are thrilled to have him with us for the show.
Brian has been performing comedy for almost 10 years now, starting in Townsville, he has since gone on to do professional shows for all the major brands operating in Queensland (Sit-Down Comedy Club, Based Comedy and Kings of Comedy). Brian always takes the show to a new level when he’s performing, covering subjects from being a disabled man to dating, working hard, funny police encounters and smoking all sorts of fun things. In 2024 Brian was selected to open for the Jim Jefferies “Give Them What They Want” Stadium Tour. (He was also selected and performed In Australia’s Got Talent but the dogs cut him after saying yes…..)

The main taproom downstairs will be open and it is recommended to call ahead and reserve a table if you wish to come in for pre-drinks.
Pizza is available from our on-site kitchen in partnership with Double Zero.
Alongside our range of award winning beers we also serve QLD wines, artisan spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
While our main taproom is wheelchair accessible, our upstairs and function room where Comedy is held is not. If you require assistance please call in advance as we may be able to accommodate some accessibility requests.
