On Friday, Jan. 24, Comedy at Apex Entertainment Marlborough continues with Ray Harrington, James Dorsey and host Dan Donahue.
Ray Harrington is an infectiously charming comedian who performs across the globe with hilariously irreverent material and marvelous improvisational riffing that embraces the uncomfortable and the absurd with a smile. He’s been seen on Conan, and his documentary Be a Man won the LA Comedy Festival before premiering exclusively on Hulu. His first album from Stand Up! Records, The Worst Is Over, debuted at the top of the comedy charts on Amazon and iTunes. His latest album, Overwhelmed, debuted at Number 1 on Amazon and at the top of the Billboard Comedy Charts.
General admission tickets are $30 for the show, or enhance your event with VIP high-top tables ($160), each accomodating four guests. This exclusive seating comes with a dedicated server to cater to your food and beverage needs.
Show-only tickets are available for $35 (cash only) on the night of the show, if seats are available.
Showtime is 8 p.m. Doors to the private reception area open at 6, and guests are welcome to come early to order dinner or have drinks before the show. The showroom opens at 7:30.

James Dorsey is an insurance salesman by day and a comedian by night! After receiving his first D-minus for conduct in the second grade, Dorsey said he realized school was not his cup of tea and took his “disruptive in class” trademark to the stand-up stage and never looked back. He shares life experiences through high energy, witty acting-out, and playful facial expressions. His use of imitations and characters is incredibly vivid and entertaining. He has shared the stage with Joe Rogan, Bryan Callen, Jerry Seinfeld, Patrice O’Neal, Jim Gaffigan, Michael Ian Black, Gilbert Gottfried, and Steven Wright. Dorsey can be seen in every major comedy club in New England and will remain in your head and heart long after he has made his exit from the stage.
Man-mountain Dan Donahue works in theaters around New England as the opener for Juston McKinney, and he’s also shared the stage with Boston headliners such as Jimmy Dunn, Mike McDonald, Christine Hurley, Mike Donovan, Paul Nardizzi and Dave Rattigan. He has performed at the prestigious Hampton Beach Comedy Festival, and appeared in the horror-comedy short Mars Hill Bait & Tackle.
