Lawrence Owens, who is affectionately called “L.O.”, is a stand up comedian, writer and actor. A native of Landover, Maryland, Owens started his comedy career in July’03 under the tutelage of The Fabulous Fat Doctor. After attending his workshop shop, Lawrence hit the ground running. He’s performed at renowned venues such as The Comedy Store and Caroline’s on Broadway while opening up for great comedians such as Chris Rock, Earthquake and Tommy Davidson.

Owens’ debut comedy album “Astute Intuition” has garnered rave reviews along with his podcast “The Owens Ordeal”. He is truly versatile when it comes to stand up. His ability to be vulnerable on stage and uncanny ability to capture audiences with his gospel like delivery of telling his truth is astounding.
