A Detroit native now based in Las Vegas, Derek’s act is fast-paced, fresh, and just the right amount of wrong. With hilarious stories drawn from his Irish-Catholic upbringing, divorce, and child-free lifestyle, he delivers a performance that’s both wildly relatable and unapologetically original.
Derek’s comedy has been featured on BlazeTV’s Normal World with Dave Landau, SiriusXM, DryBar Comedy, Open Bar Comedy, Pandora, The Weather Channel’s Top 10, and Fox News Radio’s Tom Shillue Show. A proud cancer survivor and a veteran of multiple USO and Armed Forces Entertainment tours, Derek has performed for U.S. troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and over 15 countries worldwide, including Guantanamo Bay. His dedication to entertaining the military has even been featured in Newsweek.
He’s also a founding member of The Irish Comedy Tour, and his one-hour comedy special is available across major platforms.
