Bobby Tessel is one of only a few comics to appear on both “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “The Late Show with David Letterman”. What does that mean? For some quite a bit for others not much really. But he’s done it and better to have those credits than not have them. Bobby also won the Northern Californian Comedy Competition and was a Finalist in the San Francisco International Stand-Up Comedy Competition. Bobby has his own comedy special titled “Not Right Now” on Dry Bar as well. After high school Bobby attended Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. He then proceeded to utilize that education by pursuing a career in stand-up comedy. Tessel’s first time on stage was to a packed house at the Funnybone Comedy Club in Cincinnati and he destroyed the room. Since that night he hasn’t looked back. “I love stand-up” Tessel says “I love putting words in a sequence that no one in the entire world has ever thought of in order to get a desired response laughter. I think that’s cool.”
