Step into the martial traditions of Medieval Europe, and learn to fight with spears, staves and poleaxes at Adelaide Sword Academy!This class is an introduction to the fundamentals of fighting with a staff weapon in the knightly tradition - a perfect tool for fighting armoured combatants. You'll learn the basics, like footwork, attacks and parries, as well as a bunch of the tactical concepts that make the art of fencing stick together.
This workshop is suitable for ages 14 and up - check out our kids classes for younger ages. All gear provided - just bring yourself and wear comfortable sports clothes and light shoes with non marking soles.
