Whether a seasoned singer or simply keen to enjoy a day of music and camaraderie, this event promises a warm welcome with an inspiring repertoire.
The venue is the historic City of Chester St Mary's Creative Space with nearby public car parks.
Music will include choruses from Handel’s Messiah and pieces by Byrd, Stainer and others. There will be an informal performance at the end for friends and family to enjoy. Graham Jordan Ellis (CMS Choir Music Director) will be the Chorus Master for the day and Graham Eccles will provide piano accompaniment.
Scores will be provided on loan (free of charge).
Singing will start at 10am (doors open from 9.30am for registration and collection of scores) and finish around 5pm.
Light refreshments will be available at breaks and please bring your own lunch or enjoy the many local cafes and restaurants in Chester.
