This half-day event brings a panel of artists, researchers and curators together to discuss the representation of women artists in British art collections and is timed to coincide with the final week of our current exhibition: A Different View, at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum.
The symposium will feature interesting presentations by guest speakers Dr Richenda Roberts (University of Warwick), Dr Sophie Hatchwell and Dr Rebecca Savage (University of Birmingham), the event will also include a panel discussion with artists Lou Blakeway, Julie de Bastion, Laura Adkins ARBSA and Mary Riley.
